Is your handbag original or fake? These 7 details will tell you the truth in 10 seconds.
It's yours purse original or fake? You choose a handbag, at first glance it seems perfect. Elegant, shiny, with the logo exactly where it should be. But something is wrong.. The price raises doubts. The smell too. When it touches your hand, you get the feeling that something is not as it should be.
The world of fakes has become dangerously convincing. Bags that look like the perfect thing online often have nothing in common with the original – except for the logo.

7 details that will reveal whether your handbag is original or fake
1. The inscription plate must be complete
On the inside of the original bag, the inscription on the metal or ceramic plate is perfectly aligned, without smudging, misaligned letters or errors in the font. If the plate material is plastic, this is the first red alert.
2. Metal parts must be aligned
Zippers, hooks and other metal elements have a uniform appearance on the originals – the same color, shine and no signs of scratches or stains. If the parts do not match or look cheap, the product is suspect.
3. Stitches are a mirror of quality
On a genuine bag, the stitching is even, straight, without any fraying or double stitching. The color of the thread matches the material of the bag exactly. Any irregularity can be a sign of a fake.
@julietsfinds How can you tell if a bag is fake? It's just a feeling. #designerbags #purses #purse
4. The interior has a clear order
The originals have a recognizable internal pattern and structure – the materials are high-quality (such as soft leather or high-quality textiles), and the internal elements are coordinated with the external ones. The symmetry and attention to detail are no coincidence.
5. Leather doesn't shine
A quality bag is made of genuine leather – it has a slightly matte finish, is soft to the touch, and doesn’t give off an artificial shine. If the material sounds hollow or slippery, it’s probably a synthetic substitute.
6. The serial number is unique
Each genuine bag has a unique serial number, discreetly printed on the inside label. This should match the factory number and any certification card. If this information is missing or generic, the product is probably not authentic.
7. The price says more than you think
If the price of a handbag is only a tenth of its regular price, it's not a bargain, but a warning. Genuine handbags rarely come from shady websites at ridiculously low prices. When something is too good to be true, it often is.
Buy a handbag online, but be careful.
