A unique experience of the taste of Italy in Vienna, conjured by the ambience - simple in principle, but still so very innovative. Pizzeria Disco Volante is definitely something special.
Austrian architect Lukas Galehr, a member of the design collective Madam Mohr, this time the atmosphere is Viennese pizzeria Disco Volante seasoned with a very special creation.

As the central object, he installed a fully functioning bread oven in the shape of a giant glowing disco balls. Covered with approx 7,500 pieces of glass, illuminated by brightly colored spotlights and rotating at 1 revolution per minute, in the evenings offers a whirlwind of light travel back in time to the Italo-disco era of the 70s and 80s.
![Interesting idea. The center of the pizzeria is the oven - around which everything revolves in one way or another in this restaurant.](https://e7852c3a.rocketcdn.me/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/DISCOVOLANTE9-660x825.jpg)
The spirit is further conjured by staff dressed in the creations of fashion designers Milena Heussler and Luciano Raimondi. A taste of the famous Italian delicacy through a unique experience.
