It's the best music era in all of history, according to a survey

Are you wondering which musical era is the best in all of history? American researchers came up with the answer to the 'million dollar question'.

The team from University of New York she concluded research, which included 643 participants, aged between 18 and 25 years. They had to recognize popular songs from different musical periods.

Choosing the best musical period in history is anything but easy. The fact that each musical period has offered us its charms is indisputable. The 60s of the last century were most marked by two groups The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and in the 70s, the two bands shone ABBA and Pink Floyd. The 1980s and 1990s also offered a lot of joy to fans of popular music. We must not forget the music of the 21st century, on which he had a strong influence technology development.

The researchers came to the conclusion that songs from the 60s impressed the participants much more than songs recorded in the 21st century. The songs proved to be the most memorable When A Man Loves A Woman (Percy Sledge), The Tide is High (Blondie) and Baby Come Back (Player).

Author of the study dr. Pascal Wallis he said that the musical period that covers sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties of the 20th century, persists even in the lives of millennials. It is right that it should continue to be so, because it is music is key in understanding the culture of older generations.
