Ingredients for the cake of the year:
For the dough:
- 1 egg
- 115 g of sugar
- pinch of salt
- 55 g of honey
- 60 g of butter
- 25 g of milk
- 330 g plain flour
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
For the cream:
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 liter of milk
- 240 g of sugar
- 60 g plain flour
- 60 g density
- 90 g of butter
- vanilla pod
- 250 g of mascarpone cheese
- 400 g of sweet cream
Making the cake of the year:
Mix the egg, sugar, salt, honey, butter and milk and heat until the sugar melts. Mix the flour with the baking powder and mix well. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Place the desired letter or number that you have made from the cardboard against it and cut out the letter/number with the help of a sharp blade. Do the same with the other part of the dough. Bake at 160 degrees for 10 minutes.
Put the vanilla seeds in the milk and heat it (it should be hot, but not boiling). Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until foamy over the heat. Add flour and stock. Add half of the hot milk to this and stir continuously. Remove from the heat and add the butter to the hot cream. Pour the hot cream into another container and cover with transparent foil right next to the surface of the cream. Allow the cream to cool to room temperature. Mix the mascarpone cheese into the cooled cream with an electric mixer and stir in the whipped cream with a spatula. Fill the syringe and cover the number with smaller syringes. Cover it with another part of the dough and that. You can additionally decorate the cake as you wish. Good run.
