The IWC Connect is not a smartwatch. But it can make classic wristwatches smarter. Namely, IWC Connect is a round digital device that will soon begin to appear on the straps of sports watch models of the Swiss brand IWC. It will track physical activity without having to own an elegant watch face. In addition, it will be possible to manage other devices connected to the Internet of Things.
Today, we can no longer imagine not being connected, but we still love classic mechanical wristwatches. IWC Connect therefore offers you the best of both worlds, intelligent watch band device (in the form of a mini watch) will initially be reserved for the sports watch series of the luxury wristwatch maker IWC Schaffhausen, starting with the Big Pilot model. She will enable physical activity tracking and interaction with smartphones. And what should not be left out is that it is physically completely separate from the watch, as it is sewn into the watch band.
In addition to measurement, it also enables control over devices connected to internet of things (IoT), and the purpose of the watch is to enable their management right from the wrist, while maintaining integrity handmade mechanical watches.
