With the F-type model in 2013, Jaguar reawakened the spirit of the legendary E-type model, which was somehow missing from the Jaguar family in the past. Here is the new rejuvenated version for 2021.
What he is Jaguar F-type Coupé for 2021? Of course, new headlights are mandatory, which now look more aggressive, and perhaps slightly reminiscent of those of the Maserati GranTurismo. In addition to the headlights, there is a slightly longer hood, a larger grille, new side vents and a new tail light signature.
The interior has remained more or less unchanged except for the new, larger one infotainment screen and digital counters. This is not even a weakness, as the interior has stood the test of time exceptionally well.
Perhaps the only bad news is Jaguar's decision to no longer offer manual transmissions. He will replace you soon 8-speed automatic transmission. Jaguar previously offered as many as eight different powertrain configurations, but now the choice is simplified, because in addition to manual transmissions, they also got rid of 6-cylinder engine.
Basic F-type will still be a turbocharged four-cylinder with power 296 hp, and now the next model is a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 444 hp and a hefty 580 Nm of torque. The best and latest model in the range is, of course, the SVR s 567 hp and 700 Nm of torque.
The price of the new model should not be significantly higher than that of the previous model, that is to say around 65,000 euros.
