But Jakob is not a mindless adrenaline seeker. His approach is deliberate, almost ritualistic. "My friends call me an 'adrenaline junkie,' but no matter how many jumps you have, you take that minute before each jump, clear your head, check your equipment, and convince yourself that you're capable of doing it safely." On the outside, he may seem impulsive, but in reality, it's a sport he takes with reason.
"Courage is always accompanied by reason and common sense," he adds. The line between courage and madness is not blurred for him – it is clear, precisely delineated by experience, training, and responsibility.

One of the most powerful moments of his journey occurred at the end of 2025, when he set an extraordinary record – from the highest to the lowest point in Slovenia, from the top of Triglav to 40 meters below sea level, in three hours and eighteen minutes. But when he talks about it, he doesn't stop at the numbers.
"I felt the right moment when we toasted with a glass of sparkling wine together with my family and closest friends, who supported and encouraged me."
For him, the point is in the story. "Every day I want to create a story that I can proudly tell my grandchildren." And stories are created in moments that last only a second. "A real moment lasts a second. If you miss it, all that's left is a story without proof."
