Not only did the Jamaican two-man bobsled team qualify for the Olympic Games in Sochi, people from all over the world, as well as large companies such as Samsung Electronics, helped them to get the funds they urgently need to travel to Russia.
Last week the world was surrounded by the news that jamaican bobsled team qualified for the Winter Olympics in Sochi for the first time since 2002. However, the poor financial situation of the team seriously threatened the appearance of the games, so they decided to ask the online public for voluntary contributions. To cover the costs of training and competition equipment, the team needed 80,000 US dollars. Most likely, the public collected more than twice as much money also thanks to the incredible story of persistence of the four-member bobsled team that competed in the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary, after which the legendary movie Fast Track was filmed.

Jamaican two-seater bobsled hero Winston Watts and Marvin Dixon was also supported by several multinationals, including Samsung Electronics, which, in addition to financial resources, provided the contestants with Galaxy Note 3 mobile devices and tablets.
Samsung has given the Jamaican team a central role in a video campaign with the name "Keep on Pushing". With it, as a global Olympic partner, he paid tribute to all the athletes who managed to qualify for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and will also perform there.
