Romantic James Blunt released a new album a few months ago, which we will soon be able to hear live in Salzburg and Vienna.
When it gets a little warmer and the Austrian capital is already slowly bathed in spring greenery, winter fatigue will be chased away James Blunt, an English musician who just yesterday celebrated his 40th birthday. By the way, we can sing "All the best" to him at the concert at Vienna, where he arrives with a new album Moon Landing, which the sensual Blunt released last October.
That he is a true romantic hero, James Blunt warned ten years ago when he released his first studio album Back to Bedlam and like a tornado with singles You're Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover blasted on MTV and radio stations around the world. The album went viral and James continued to hone his signature singing, penetrating deeper into the world of music, as well as into his own subconscious.
The last album is an emotionally charged story about dreams, longing and first love. "There's just something romantic, vintage, and lonely about Moon Landing," Blunt describes his fourth record. "It is a nostalgic memory of something great, which we can hardly believe we once achieved and for certain reasons, unfortunately, we can no longer achieve - like first love".
The musician is aware that we can never go back to the beginning, but we can discover some things completely anew: "In my teenage years, I found freedom in music. It's a way of dreaming and a way to express who you are, but not only to the audience - especially to yourself. It took me quite some time to understand it, feel it again and start dreaming again".
The day before the concert in Vienna, James Blunt will also perform in Salzburg, at the Sazburgarena. Tickets will cost between 49.40 and 56.40 euros, but transport to Salzburg is not organized. You can buy tickets here.
