The Jeep brand entered the new calendar year with an extremely aggressive approach and presented the redesigned Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Renegade models. They are very different from each other, each dedicated to its own mission, but they have tradition and field capabilities in common.
A precursor to today's Jeep was a Willys, which began to be produced in the 1940s. The DNA left by the predecessor can be seen by the symbols of the fuel tank, in the shape of a letter X, recognizable front masks with round lights and of course off-road capabilities.
Jeep Renegade got a new front and rear bumper, a new mask and a refreshed look of the LED front and rear headlights. New materials and refreshed designs of rims in sizes from 16- to 19-inch. But more than that, the overhaul of the engines is important. While the diesel engines remain the same, a big change has hit the petrol engine range. They are now available 1.0 liter motor with 120 horsepower and 1.3 liter motor with 150, respectively 180 horsepower. Security systems have been updated, which are now more accurate and more responsive. The Renegade has a choice of different driving programs and 5 equipment levels, for Slovenia but a special one will be available promotional equipment level with name Freedom. Only this one will stand 21,490 euros, otherwise the Jeep Renegade will be available from 17,990 euros further.
Jeep Wrangler is the best of the renewed range robust and the most in love with the terrain. In its DNA flows all the knowledge from Willys Jeep to the present day. The newest Wrangler is the most powerful and the most modern Wrangler until now and has also maintained irreplaceable recognizable image, which is complemented by new LED headlights. The cabin has become more comfortable and even more driver-friendly, and better materials are available, such as leather seats, 3.5- or 7.0-inch TFT screen and Aux switches that we can connect to any additional equipment of the SUV.
The new Jeep Wrangler offers the so-called open air experience, as we can remove the roof, doors and 'open' the windshield. The Wrangler is also available in an Unlimited version, which is for 55 centimeters longer than the normal version. The Wrangler is powered by new engines, 2.2 liter turbodiesel engine with 200 horsepower and 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine with 272 horsepower. The Jeep Wrangler is available from 54,730 euros further.
It is certainly the most prestigious of the refurbished Jeeps Jeep Cherokee. They have been producing it since 1974 and this one too got a renewed front and rear part, both bumpers and LED lights. The Cherokee is available with 2.2 liter diesel engine that has 150 or 195 horsepower. More will be available in the second half of 2019 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine with 270 horsepower. It still has the interior more storage areas, the luggage compartment is increased for 70 liters, the size now amounts to 570 liters, and the entire structure of the Cherokee is 70 kilograms lighter. The redesigned Cherokee has a new range of assistance systems and accessories, and its four-wheel drive also offers a choice of different driving profiles. The Jeep Cherokee is available from 35,990 euros further.
