Artist Jeff Koons has joined forces with the fashion house Louis Vuitton to create a series of handbags and other fashion accessories with imitations of some of the most famous art paintings, such as Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Vincent van Gogh's Cornfield with Cypresses and Peter Paul Rubens' Hunting the Tiger.
Da Vinci's Mona Lisa and Cornfield with cypress trees van Gogh are just two motifs that adorn the new collection of fashion accessories of the French fashion house Louis Vuitton. A careful eye notices that it is not about original pictures, as the fashion authority used interpretations of these New York artists for the print by the artist Jeff Koons.

With these paintings, Koons wanted to make the visitors of the gallery see and experience the famous works in a new light. Each bag from of the Masters collection (Speedy, Keepall and Neverfull) bears the original author's name, struck out with golden letters. There is also no shortage of famous people on them monogram LV and not Koons either a rabbit. A collection that also includes a series of scarves and backpacks, comes out April 28, 2017. This is not Louis Vuitton's first collaboration with artists. He has previously linked up with names such as Yayoi Kusama, Cindy Sherman, Olafur Eliasson and James Turrell.
