What clothes reveal that a man is prone to cheating? You will be surprised!

Have you ever thought that your clothes can reveal more about your love life than you think? Years ago, a University of Michigan study revealed that men who wear clothes with large luxury logos act less reliably and are more prone to short-term romances.

Psychologist dr. Daniel Kruger and his team found that clothing with large logos signaled greater promiscuity and less readiness for long-term relationships. These surprising discoveries invite us to reconsider the impression we leave with our own fashion choices.

How did they rate the men?

The research included 376 participants who rated men wearing Ralph Lauren polo shirts with a large or small logo. They were evaluated according to the following factors: "frequent flirting", "conquering a foreign partner", "taking care of children" and "financial stability".

Big logos and (un)reliability

Men with large logos were rated as more likely to cheat and less interesting for long-term relationships. Participants believed they invested more in sexuality than in parenting. Kruger originally assumed that women would see men with luxury logos as rich and powerful, but the results showed the opposite.

Smaller logos, more reliability

The study found that men prefer to wear smaller logos in formal and family settings, while choosing larger logos for situations where they want to establish social dominance. Women, on the other hand, rated men with smaller logos as more reliable and suitable for long-term relationships.

So, the next time you choose your clothes, think about the impression you want to make. Your clothes can speak louder than you think.
