The great British group Keane is coming to the capital. The group was formed in the second half of the nineties, when Tim Rice - Oxley led the band Lotus Eaters. They started their musical journey by playing songs U2, Oasis and The Beatles. When the then unknown Chris Martin from the then unestablished Coldplay band offered him the role of keyboardist, the success story had only just begun. Rice - Oxley did not want to leave the parent band, which was joined by singer Tom Chaplin, whom they have known since childhood. They changed the name of the group to Cherry Keane, and then shortened it to simply – Keane. The lineup hasn't changed much over the years. Today it consists of Tim Rice - Oxley on piano, Richard Hughes on drums, Tom Chaplin on guitar and bassist Jesse Quin. Hits such as Bend&Break, Everybody's Changing, This Is The Last Time, Somewhere Only We Know and many others followed. Only you will be heard live in one form or another. They will also present their new album Strangeland. They will perform as part of the Dan202 event. We will be warmed up by the group Elevators, who will join us on stage: Big Foot Mama, Janez Bončina Benč, Sestre, Tinkara Kovač, Tabu, katarina Mala, Manouche, Neisha, Leeloojamais, Andrej Šifrer, Adi Smolar, Neca Falk, Melodrom, Alenka Godec, Oto Pestner, Bombe, Vlado Kreslin, Zoran Predin, Jani Kovačič, Leteči Potepuhi, Murat & Jose, Nikolovski, Zlatko, Trkaj, Mi2, Siddharta, Peter Lovšin, Anja Rupel, Niet, Dan D and many others. We are expecting a concert that will really inspire us and lead us into a colorful musical autumn.
