Kia Ceed GT: 201 horsepower and aggressive design

Designed, developed and manufactured in Europe. The new Kia Ceed GT is now available for all those who find the regular Kia Ceed with a 1.4-liter engine not enough. Like its predecessor, the newcomer also has a 1.6-liter engine with 201 horsepower.

Its sporty side will be new Kia Ceed GT pointed with her own 1.6-liter turbine engine that has 201 horsepower and 265 newton meters of torque. With this power Ceed GT it is not direct a rival to the Volkswagen Golf GTI or the Ford Focus ST. It doesn't even want to be, because at Kia they aim to offer customers more powers, without having to pay premium for it price.

The previous generation of the Kia Cee'd GT was only available 6-speed manual gearbox. With the new generation, more will be available 7-speed automatic dual clutch transmission. If you opt for the automatic transmission, you'll also get more metal levers for shifting next to the steering wheel so that you can also 'manually' shift. It still has an automatic transmission additionally an advantage and enables choice driving ways. You can choose between normal or sports driving mode. The first gives priority comfort and efficiency, while the other 'sharpens' the components and enables the fastest acceleration.

Besides upgraded brake system and larger ones 18-inch the new sports car still has a lot of alloy wheels visual changes. Both bumpers are more aggressive, and on each side of the rear diffuser there are exposed exhaust pipe ends. The so-called tiger nose is colored red around the honeycomb. The color red can also be seen in the interior, where we are pampered sports seats, made exclusive for the GT series. The Kia Ceed GT will be presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show, and it should go on sale in the first quarters next year.
