A Dutch startup Buds has impressed with a unique innovation – it has produced modern corks, which act as volume knob in your ears.
Each pair offers four different settings. You can silence the sounds from the surroundings completely or continue to listen to them at any volume. There are also modes specially adapted to city noise and live music. The device can otherwise be operated with round volume button.
Knops plugs do not use electronics, apps or batteries, but use physics to filter sound. They are based on processing of sound waves, which travel to your ear. They boast a great deal comforts and functionality, and at the same time they will also impress you with elegant appearance.
The team behind the project launched the product after a lengthy testing phase in the laboratory. She always strived to find a way to decrease the volume and maintaining the quality of the sounds.
By turning the knob, the volume can be limited to 10, 20 or 30 decibels. So you will no longer have to worry about the noise caused by construction work, conversations and snoring.
Buyers will have many to choose from colors and decorations, with which they will adapt the earplugs to their taste. There is a charge for Knops earplugs 85 €.
