The Koper theater production about the adventure of Stanko Škerjanc-Scheriani, the owner of Trieste's local Radio Juriš, with Pope Celestine VI, is a masterly interpretation by Gojmir Lešnjak - Gojca and Boris Kobal. Two completely opposite characters accidentally find themselves on the radio: a former partisan and a pope. Despite everything, they find a common language, because each of them is tired of the environment in which they live: the first of the smallness of the local officials, the second of the Vatican intrigues. The logical consequence of the connection is the consensual kidnapping of Celestino, followed by a series of unexpected complications. The text by Tamara Matevc and Boris Kobal, directed by Sam M. Strelac, is not only ironic, but above all refreshing, mitigating, healing and ultimately challenging in today's world of madness.
