McLaren Applied, founded in 1991 under the name McLaren Composites, offers technical solutions to external clients, and their branch is Lavoie, where they produced the Series 1 electric scooter.
Electric scope Lavoie Series 1 is made of magnesium, which is used in the automotive industry. Weights 16.5 kilograms and offers a range of up to 50 kilometers. The battery only needs 2 hours, to be charged at the domestic household socket. It folds using the patented Flowfold system, which folds the handlebars, front and rear wheels at the push of a button.
The Series 1 Electric Skiro boasts a unique system lighting, which illuminates the driver from behind and thus makes him more visible in traffic. The side lights visually increase the scope, and the front light provides good illumination of the road in front of the scope. They didn't even forget the turn signals, which are controlled by a button on the steering wheel. The steering wheel has an integrated screen for viewing important data.
The Lavoie Series 1 can be connected to application, which follows the electrical circuit and, if necessary, activates a loud alarm system. It offers additional options in the form of step-by-step navigation and more detailed information about the operation of the skiro. In case of problems, the application will automatically notify the Lavoie technical service, who will advise the owner on how to fix the problem. The price and more technical data will be announced in the coming months.
