In April and May, the Museum of Architecture and Design will host a series of meetings on the topic of visual communication design. The first meeting will be devoted to typography, and will be moderated by him Tomato Kosher, author of many typefaces, mentor of the TipoRenesansa workshop, member of the TipoBrda association, initiator of the Festival of Letters. The winners of the Brumn Awards - the highest national professional recognitions awarded by the international jury as part of the Biennale of Visible Messages in Slovenia - will participate: Aljaž Vindis, until recently art editor Tribune, at the 5th Biennale of Visible Messages in Slovenia, awarded for the Tribunal letter family, Only Achko, art editor Diary, winner of the 4th Biennial Award for the BadNews typeface family, Matevž Medja, Creative Director and Head of Visual Communications at the agency Gigodesign, laureate of the 1st Cerdonis typeface biennial, Ermin Međedović, art editor of Delo, winner of the Brum Award at the 2nd Biennale for the Delo typeface family, also author of the Toti typeface family (used by Večer newspaper).
In the lectures and conversation, the designers will shed light in different ways on the areas of typography, identity and publications, which are elementary categories, the essence of which has been (and will continue to be) greatly changed by the new technologies used by designers and publishers. They will discuss their work, professional and business environment, and daily and future work challenges.
