Recently, BMW held an event in front of the building of the famous BMW welt to mark the 25th anniversary of this legendary sports coupe of the brand. It was presented for the first time in 1989 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and production lasted until 1999, during which time 30,621 examples were produced.
On the occasion of the jubilee, many BMW clubs from all over Europe are at the event brought 120 specimens, and the Bavarians put another next to it eight prototypes, one of which was more than 550 "horse" BV12 with optimized aerodynamics that served as the basis for McLaren's F1.
