Recently, BMW held an event in front of the building of the famous BMW welt to mark the 25th anniversary of this legendary sports coupe of the brand. It was presented for the first time in 1989 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and production lasted until 1999, during which time 30,621 examples were produced.
