Lego is collaborating with Ferrari again, this time on the Lego Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 model. A book will also be available about the collaboration and making of the model.
At Lego presented their newest model from the Technic line, which was created in collaboration with Ferrari. Lego Technic Daytona SP3 will be available from June 1st later, and at the start of sales, a book summarizing the collaboration in the production and design of the model will also be available. It will only be available 5,000 copies commemorative books.
The Lego Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a scale model 1:8, which it consists of 3,778 pieces. It's tall 15-, long 59- and wide 25 centimeters. As is usual with Technic models, the new Daytona SP3 has been given a lot of attention to detail. The model has a working one 8-speed sequential gearbox, 12-cylinder and the engine has moving cylinders. The Lego Daytona features intricate suspension, detailed brake calipers and working springs.
The liftgate allows a view into the interior, which exactly imitates the interior of a real Ferrari. They didn't even forget about the black horse logo that can be seen on the model's steering wheel. The same logo can be seen on the central nut of the gray rims. The latest Lego Technic model will be available from June 1 and will be standing around 400 euros. A commemorative book on the making of the model will be available for approx 80 euros.
