Kravitz points out that when designing the exterior of the new camera, he thought mainly of himself and of people who live in a similar way to him. Accordingly, the device is mainly intended for this individuals, who are constantly on the go and often find themselves in front of and behind the lens. It is not even unusual that the camera and accessories are made of animal-friendly materials, as Lenny is himself vegan.

The price of the Leica M Monochrom Drifter is just 20,500 pounds, which amounts to approx 23,200 euros – lenses are also included in the price Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH and APO-summicron-M 75mm f/2 ASPH, boxes for their storage, a travel bag and two small purses.
