Since way back in 1992, when Lenovo and IMB launched the first ThinkPads (i.e. ThinkPad 700), Lenovo has produced an incredible 100 million of them to date. On the occasion of the venerable jubilee, this large family of business laptops got a youngster, and the head of the family still remains the now rejuvenated ultrabook ThinkPad X1 Carbon, which maintains the primacy of the lightest 14-inch laptop in the world.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon has, as the name suggests, a case from carbon fiber, which is why it is also feather-light and durable (the scales show it all 1.3 kilograms). It remains the flagship of the Lenovo laptop family ThinkPad and generally the lightest in the most powerful business category ultraportables.
With an extremely bright full HD screen size 14 inches, with the latest PCIe SSD drive, which makes it incredibly fast and responsive (working with data is faster up to 80% compared to a standard SSD drive), with a built-in processor Intel Core i7 fifth "Broawell" generation and an application for the most optimal user experience, which makes it even more mobile, as the battery lasts much longer (almost 11 hours), so it more than fills the shoes of its predecessor. Actually with 1.8 centimeters the thin, ergonomically designed chassis raises the bar for business laptops even higher.

Of course, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon is also decorated with distinctive features TrackPoint keyboardsa/mouse, and "Shiva's third eye", the red pointing stick, provides the (red) finishing touch. Business ultrabook with 8GB of memory and 512 GB of storage space (SSD only) will be seen for the first time these days at the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2015, and will be on sale from the end of February from approx. 1050 euros further.
