We all want to go across the border at some point, either to study or to earn a living. It sounds simple, but it's not like that and we quickly have endless questions in our heads, what does it mean to leave, how will we live, will it get better, will it get worse, and so on. Perhaps for a start, before we dive into further considerations, let's take a look at the interesting theater and music project Let's all go! directed by Maret Bulc.
If the country were a band and its resident a musician, moving out of the country would be like moving a musician from band to band. He realized this simple formula director of the Mare Bulc project, who, in the process of improvisations and rehearsals with the creators, dissected moving and the impossibility of moving, leaving and staying, the reasons why to persist and why to leave.
Bulc combined exclusively in the project musicians – world famous opera singer Irena Preda, the fastest Slovenian by rapper N'Tok, virtuosic and sensitive keyboardist of Katalena bands and Melodrom Polono Janežič, the drum wizard of countless bands Very Berger, a member of an electro-punk band Ludovik Material Matijo Dolenca and charged with incredible energy vocalist Tino Perić. His choice of a "non-acting" musical team of performers created an interesting and unusual the creative process and thus offered the director a unique challenge of how to theatricalize the sight-seeing musical situation.
After the show, we can meet in the group debate evening What others say with the help of moderators, of the Kitch tandem, talked about the issues of leaving and debated about its causes. We will put the subject of migration under the microscope, what it means today, when we are in a bad economic situation globally and migration for an individual no longer means an automatic solution to this problem.
