All that glitters is not gold, and even behind artistic products, be they music, film or fashion, there is a backstage that reveals garage work, a lot of lost nerves, a lot of motivation, enthusiasm and an incredible world of ideas. Full-length documentary What difference does it make? A Film About Making Music, which, in honor of the 15th anniversary of the musical collaboration, was created under the direction of the Golden Lion-awarded director Ralf Schmerberger, reveals just that – the heart of what's going on in the renowned Red Bull Music Academy.

Quite a few world-famous musical names sprouted behind its walls, either they lectured, listened or later established themselves in the music world. Everyone has their own experiences, and Lee's are in the movie 'Scratch' Perry, Brian Eno, Philip Glass, Giorgio Moroder, Erykah Badu, Nile Rodgers, Rakim, Skream, Q-Tip, Ken Scott, Thundercat, Richie Hawtin, James Murphy and Debbie Harry told their story, because the Red Bull Music Academy means a lot to many people.

The first workshop took place in 1998, and it garnered so much interest and success that it has continued to develop both in scope and ambition. The Academy organized lectures, creative workshops and events where musical ideas were created and spread, some of them of exceptional quality.

In his characteristic style, Schemberg immortalized 15 years of musical involvement and activity of the Red Bull Academy and interwoven them with rhythm and musicality into a unique story about the magic of small ideas and great musical pleasures.

The film will have its premiere in cinemas around the world on February 17, we will be able to see it here at 20:00 at the Central Station in Ljubljana, and a day later it will be available for viewing on the official Red Bull Music Academy website.
