The small, colorful camera looks like a toy at first glance, but Otto can do much more with its advanced functionality. Most cameras today allow us to take photos or create videos, but little Otto allows us to get a whole series of interesting GIF animations with a few clicks of a button, which we can share with friends with our smartphone.
Otto is a compact camera, which is located inside the plastic housing. It is made for photography instant GIF animations and works on the principle Vine or Instagram video apps – for a moving image, you need to press the button on the camera and hold it for a few seconds, then the moving image is sent to your smartphone, as long as you are connected to wireless internet. The project is still in the development phase, and Otto is a kind of prototype that is looking for donors on online platform Kickstarter, and you can pre-order at www.nextthing.co.
