At the Knight, Lady and Dragon exhibition. The heritage of medieval warriors Every second weekend of the month, we prepare a Living History program where young and old fans of this mysterious historical period can relive the everyday life and culture of our ancestors.

Program:
Saturday, March 9
11:00 a.m. – Martial arts in the Middle Ages; performed by the Academia Artis Dimicatoriae
12.00 – 14.00 – Everyday life in the Middle Ages: clothing and weapons
Presentation of medieval clothing with demonstration of sewing and presentation of medieval weapons such as spear, dagger, sword, messer, battle hammer. Costumed members of the troupe will present visitors with clothing, fabrics and their purpose, as well as replicas of weapons and their purpose and use; performed by the Golden Spur Society
12.00 – Musical instruments and music and dance in the Middle Ages
You will be able to learn live the organological characteristics of their reconstructions and listen to how some typical works from the European musical treasury of the Middle Ages and Renaissance sound on them. At the end, they also prepared a short dance workshop of social dances of the 16th century; performed by the Capella Carniola Early Music Ensemble
Sunday, 10. 3.
11:00 a.m. – Public guided tour of the exhibition depicting historical warfare; led by the author of the exhibition dr. Tomaž Lazar; performed by the Academia Artis Dimicatoriae
