Ljubljana Fashion Week 2016, considered the biggest fashion event in Slovenia, is moving to the Slon Hotel. This time, the live fashion shows will take place between September 18 and 20, 2016. The special feature of this event, which will be held for the second time this year - the last time it was held in April at Congress Square - will be that it will not be seasonal.

”This time we gave the designers even more freedom and offered them the opportunity to present special collections, without a seasonal definition. To stay fresh, fashion must respond to the habits of those for whom fashion designers create. In Slovenia, the pieces presented in fashion shows are most often bought directly by end customers, even those from the front rows, so we want to shorten the time from the presentation on the catwalk to the exits on the street. It is also a suitable introduction to new LJFW format, at a time when the spring-summer collections will be presented in the spring, and the autumn-winter collections in the fall," the decision was accompanied by the executive producer of LJFW Melinda Rebrek.
