LJFW 2019: day five of the WOW Awards

Five days of LJFW 2019 are behind us. The final evening was marked by the WOW Awards, which were presented to the fashion designers who most impressed the expert jury and the audience.

Friday morning and afternoon were held at MAO fashion lectures as part of the Fashion System conference. One of the lecturers was also the executive producer of LJFW Melinda Rebrek, which presented the participants with local practices of event organization and revealed to the audience the secrets behind the scenes of the Ljubljana Fashion Week. Of course, it also took place in parallel showroom, where customers could meet the designers of the collections presented at LJFW 2019 and tried on, ordered and bought pieces from the collections shown. They also gave out four WOW awards, two of which she chose expert jury (Goga Štiftar, Gili Biegun, Andrea Varga, Anžej Dežan, Mimi Antolovič), one prize was awarded audience on social networks, and they also awarded the most promising designer of the Faculty of Design.

The following winners were delighted with the WOW awards:

A prize for the best collection of students of the Faculty of Designn received Valentina Kolander. Award Digi WOW, which was chosen by the audience by voting on social networks, went to the hands of the designer Damir Raković, which creates the Ponorelli brand. The expert jury is the award WOW International dedicated to the design tandem Mateyaneira. WOW award withbut the best collection of this year's edition LJFW surprised the young designer Anja Medle, who presented her collection independently for the first time at LJFW and clearly left an impression.
