The congress square in the center of Ljubljana will be transformed into a beach in the middle of Ljubljana for three days (from August 1 to 4), and beach volleyball will be played by world-class athletes.
Championships Ljubljana Beach Volleyball Challenge 2019, which already in its first performance in 2014 attracted a lot of attention on a global scale, will be attended by volleyball pairs from different countries. They will follow the championship free training for primary school children, music and animation program and night entertainment.
Volleyball players and beach volleyball players will be the first confrontations, August 1st, as part of the qualification, played in Sports park Ludus in Črnuče, where it will be August 2nd also on the first day of the main part of the tournament. The action will then move to Congress square, where the elimination fights will take place on Saturday. The semi-final matches will start on Sunday at 15:00, the women's final at 21:00 and the men's at 22:00.
