The world's largest show and tell event is coming to Ljubljana. The Mini Maker Faire will take place on May 13, 2017 in the premises of the former Tobačna, where it will bring together technology, researchers and culture in one place.

Mini Maker Faire 2017 will take place May 13, 2017 in the premises of the former Tobačna, where it will unite inventors under one roof, creators, makers, artists, scientists and technology geeks from Slovenia and abroad.
They will be held throughout the day workshops for all generations, lectures and presentations of examples of good practice; everything that fills the creative mind and encourages it to search for something new. And who is it maker? A creative individual or groups in which they socialize with the aim of researching and testing new solutions, designing unique products and placing them in social models for a better tomorrow. More than 100 different presentations and activities will inspire in the synergy of fresh modern technology and traditional crafts. Among others, you will meet foreign creators at the event, but above all, modern computer-controlled machines, hacking and robotics.

The primary purpose of the Ljubljana Mini Maker Faire 2017 is to it strengthens curiosity, research and the free flow of ideas, knowledge and experience.
