Due to last year's exceptional interest and success of the event, the organizer, with the support of the Ljubljana Tourism Institute, decided to organize two Ljubljana Wine Route events. The first will be the late spring event Ljubljana Wine Route - summer wine indulgences on Saturday, June 18 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The stalls, which will be arranged on the City Square, Ciril-Metodov Square, along Stritarjeva Street and along the Cankarjevo Embankment, will once again host excellent winemakers and providers of culinary delights. As a rule, the providers will be distributed by wine-growing regions, which gives visitors a sense of the offer of individual rounded areas. Caterers and other providers will prepare a taste of traditional summertime dishes.
About 60 winemakers, restaurateurs and providers of excellent local dishes will participate. The event will also be enriched this time by cultural and artistic groups from all over Slovenia. Vineyards and winemakers, as well as providers of home-made products and traditional dishes, come from all three wine-growing countries. On the website www.ljubljanskavinskapot.si their names will be published after June 10, together with the display of the locations of individual providers' stands.
