The American start-up company Lyons Motor Car will present at the 2015 New York Auto Show the monstrous LM2 Streamliner, which pulls up to an incredible 467 km/h and reaches 100 km/h in a mere 2.2 seconds. Although it is a concept that, above all, does not come from an established factory, names such as Koenigsegg and Pagani give hope that in the future the LM2 Streamliner will take the title of the fastest car in the world.
To tear up LM2 Streamliner, prepared by the American Lyons Motor Car, has "in the ass" (namely, the engine is in the back and drives all four wheels) just 1700 "horses", who commands them 8.2-liter V8 engine with Twin Turbo technology. It helps to dictate the plants 7-speed sequential gearbox, and the speed is braked by Brembo carbon ceramic brake discs and the Bosch ABS system. The body and chassis are bathed in carbon fiber (carbon), but of course there is no shortage of metals that have accumulated in the exhaust system and suspension. The former uses stainless steel and titanium, while the springs use aluminum and titanium. The suspension makes it possible two chassis heights: luxury and sports mode.
