The course of the transversal itself is clearly visible on the map at the Castle Park Club. For all those who are attracted to horses, in the idyllic farming environment in Log pri Zaplana, a more than two hundred year old farm, which is home to Ranch Kaja and Grom, has been renovated in an authentic style. There you can enjoy a riding school, excursions, caving, archery, hiking, hunting and fishing, or a vacation with all of the above. Winter sports have developed in Logatec due to the suitable terrain and climate – rather cold winters with an average three-month snow cover. The people of Logat can be proud of their ski jump and ski slopes on Sekirica.

EVENTS IN LOGATEC 
The annual New Year's cross-country skiing organized by the Valkarton Cross-Country Skiing Club has also become traditional. The most important club in Logatec, also known outside the municipality, is the Castle Park Club. Here, in addition to hot and cold drinks, they offer a whole host of sports activities, which are very welcome for recreation lovers. In addition to courts for playing beach volleyball, badminton, and tennis, they also offer outdoor soccer. They even organize parties and various concerts in their offer. If you happen to look too deeply into the glass, it's better to rent one of their rooms than get behind the wheel. But if "speed is your virtue", you simply cannot pass by the Zapolje Industrial-Crafts Zone, where you can try your hand at karting (Karting Logatec). They even filmed the first episode of the Dirka reality show there, which you can watch on Channel A. In addition, the restaurant and recreation center GRC Zapolje also has its premises. The entire complex is occupied by the Logarček Restaurant, wine cellar, sauna, swimming pool, Fitness studio Napoleon and badminton courts.

FOR THE HUNGRY
The people of Logat say that they have pizzas that can compete with those from the capital itself. It is definitely worth trying Pizzeria Bolero if you are on your way to Logatec. For those of you who are big nature lovers, the Kisovec Tourist Farm in Petkovac with its rich local cuisine is perfect. There is also the penultimate stamp place if you want to conquer the Loga bicycle transversal, so you can refresh yourself there and gather new strength for the finale itself. If you get hungry even while exploring the central part of the city, you can have a quick refreshment at Pekarna Pečjak, which tempts everyone with its chocolate treats. So take some more!

THERE IS WATER, THERE IS NO WATER
Planinsko polje is located right in Logatec Municipality, which most people don't think is anything special. If you drive past it at different times of the year and watch it with a watchful eye, you will find that in summer there is a field covered with meadows, and in late autumn and early spring it is flooded with water that reaches ten meters above the level of the field. The whole area is karst in character and when the subsoil fills its cracks and holes with water, the water easily remains on the surface of the field. Lake Cerkniško has a similar character, which is probably much more recognizable and better known to most people. The karst river Unica or the flooded Planinska polje are a paradise for fishermen with their wealth of fish. Only the area of Logatac and the whole of Notranjska is also known for its ice caves, which are still called "natural refrigerators" today. Already in history, that ice was used for the transport and storage of perishable food, which was taken to Trieste or Vienna. If you are tempted and taken over by the underground, explore it by enrolling in the Logatec Caving Society and with them discover the beauty of darkness, stalactites, abysses and human fish.
