After Steven Izen's grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, he was overcome with mixed emotions. At first a painful sadness, then a grateful realization that he could have been a part of his life. It was then that he decided to create a piece that would illustrate his feelings at the time. Countless research and three years later, the Lokai bracelet was born.
Life is full climbs and falls. Without one, it is difficult to appreciate the other. Lokai is such a constant reminder that no matter how life turns, one must strive for balance.
A seemingly simple bracelet is assembled three types of elements: colored balls made of high quality silicone, which should bring clarity in moments of excessive joy or sadness, white ball, which include authentic water from the highest point in the world – Mt. Everest, illustrating modesty even at the happiest events and black ball with authentic deposits from the bottom of the lowest point on earth – the black sea, like hope and acceptance with difficult life periods. So her name comes from a Hawaiian word "lokahi", which means unity, coexistence of opposites or balance.
Lokai is available in three sizes and from waterproof material, with which we can wear it anytime and anywhere. In addition, the company MyLokai 10 percent of each bracelet sold goes to charitable purposes. It's nothing, a closed circle in every way.
