An extravagant dance show with the Irish tradition of Lord of the Dance will come to life on April 7 on the big stage of Ljubljana's Stožice. One of the most visited shows in the world has been breaking all sales records for 20 years and leaving enthusiastic crowds behind.
Celtic dance fairy tale Lord of the Dance audiences worldwide with extravagant costumes and astonishing skill, the energy and speed of the performers in well-kept dancing shoes. The show combines Irish tradition with the latest technology, spectacular lighting effects, dancing robots and acrobats. In the fairy tale of the fight between good and evil, the dancers escalate the performance through a passionate love story that describes the Little Spirit's journey through time and his help to the Lord of Dance, who wants to protect his people from the Lord of Darkness and his disciples.
With the record that the dancing fairy holds to this day, that's all Sold out London's legendary Wembley Arena 21 times and performed in football stadiums in Europe and Asia in front of 120,000 visitors. To date, their performances have been seen by more than 100 million people in 67 different countries, on all continents. The show also toured the West End, Broadway, USA, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, among others.
