Lotus is intensively preparing for the arrival of a new car. This will happen only in 2020, and until then they have prepared the last, special version of the legendary 3-Eleven model. Lotus presents the 3-Eleven 430 as the most extreme car they have ever made. 20 examples will be made with a price of 102,000 British pounds.
Under the hood Lotus 3-Eleven 430 is hiding 3.5-liter 6-cylinder V engine with 430 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h it can accelerate in 3.2 seconds and reaches maximum speed 290 km/h. Compared to the second most powerful 3-Eleven, this means a time improvement of 0.2 seconds and a top speed of 10 km/h higher. It will shift with assistance 6-speed manual gearbox.
To prove the speed of the Lotus 3-Eleven, it was sent to the home test track and set a new record, which is 0.8 seconds better than the Lotus Exige Cup 430 and as much as 2 seconds better than the standard Lotus 3-Eleven. Lotus says the special edition isn't just about power, it is aerodynamically refined, so that it can effectively transfer all that extra power to the road. Each special edition comes with a price, and with the latest 3-Eleven, customers are sure to get an extra dose of excitement.
