Ludwig et Dominic Argo: a cradle that protects the baby from radiation

Makers of sophisticated furniture Ludwig and Dominic and a Parisian design studio Noir Vif they joined forces and created cradle, which will protect our youngest from harmful the effects of electromagnetic radiation. The project was named after its namesake constellations Argo Overhang, which is already known from the period before antiquity - according to Greek mythology, it is a ship Argo, with which they are Jason and Argonauts searched for gold fleece.

They were needed 18 months, that they designed and manufactured a cradle modeled after a mythical ship. The hull of the 'ship'/hull is made of walnut wood, which also illustrates the shape of the uterus. In order to protect against electromagnetic radiation, a mesh was pressed into the wood copper wire. The 'canopy' over the cradle is made of particleboard covered with walnut wood. They then added more to the cradle coppergeometric a pattern that also has a protective role.

A child can look at the inside of the lid the constellation Argo Navis, which is of course the main inspiration for the resulting cradle. The lightest part of the child's shelter is represented by a 'veil' made of intertwined copper and at the same time illustrates the sail Argo ships.
