A new format of the Maestro improvisation competition is coming to Slovenia in cooperation with the IGLU theater, Impro League and SiTi Theater. From now on, every third Tuesday of the month SiTi Teater will be full of visitors with tears in their eyes and stomach aches - from laughter, of course!
It is coming to Slovenia this autumn Maestro™. It is a licensed format of an improvisation competition, which abroad (mainly in North America and Europe) fills theater halls with both visitors and with tears and aching bellies - from laughter of course!

The fierce battle for the impro throne will take place here for the first time on the twenty-first of October in SiTi Teatro, and we will be able to relax in the comfort of theater seats and a good amount of laughter every third Tuesday of the month. In an evening that will be full of spontaneous ups and downs experienced improvisers, under the guidance of two directors, as many as thirteen of them will compete for the prestigious title of the best improviser of the evening. Of course we'll be there spectators also actively participated: the scenes on the stage will be took place also according to our suggestions, and the improvisers will also be left to the grace and mercy of our assessment. Only the best will survive from round to round, and the improvisational throne will be occupied by only one person: Maestro!
Evenings of wildly entertaining battles for the impro throne will take place in cooperation with SiTi Teatro z Improv league and theater IGLU (Ljubljana Improvisational Theatre). The IGLU Theater is one of the few Slovenian professional theaters with an emphasis on improvisation. It consists of young, yet experienced players Peter Frankl, Vid Sodnik and Juš Milčinski, who have received several awards for their creations.
