Fashion Designers at MBFWLJ 2016:

ACCULTURE
Alenka Globočnik Fabjan is a local fashion designer who looks for different but still wearable solutions with a touch of avant-garde in her collections.

Cliché
The fashion brand Clichė, under which Jelena Pirkmajer has signed and created since 1991, is synonymous with high-quality materials, individuality and strong conceptual designs, as well as awareness of environmentally conscious fashion.

Dajana Ljubičić
Dajana Ljubičić says that for her, design is synonymous with smart solutions based on a good concept. She herself is one of those designers who is not limited by form, and with her minimalist approach she leaves her mark on the Slovenian fashion scene.

D'Alpaos
D'Alpaos is an Italian clothing brand whose beginnings were focused on designing unisex fashion and experimenting with form and materials.

IVANMAN
The IVANMAN brand, based in Berlin, was founded by designer Ivan Mandžukić with the aim of creating a combination of classic and avant-garde clothing for men. He sees fashion as a social phenomenon, analyzes it through deconstruction, examines its individual parts and reassembles them.

MÊHLÊ
The design duo of Slovenian origin based in London prides itself on the sophisticated aesthetics of traditional tailoring and the use of technically innovative materials. With their clean, relaxed, but sustainable silhouettes, fashion designer Maja Mehle and visual artist Miha Fabio Kalan leave a strong mark both on Slovenian and foreign soil.

Natasa Persuh
Nataša Peršuh, who completed her postgraduate studies in France at the prestigious Institut Francais de la Mode, is one of the most prominent creators of Slovenian fashion design here. Her collections reflect eternity and structuredness, which is always changing.

SENS
The story of the Slovenian men's clothing brand SENS dates back to 1994. SENS stands for a sense of function and a sense of beauty. Designer Zlata Zavašnik pays great attention to the design of products and the selection of new fashionable fabrics, and she draws inspiration from the samples of new fabrics, which take her forward with their texture and color.

Sofia Nogard
The concept of the SOFIA NOGARD brand, under which fashion designers Boštjan Mljač and Mija Curk have signed since 2012, is 'timeless archaism'. They reinterpret the atmosphere of Slovenian culture and tradition in a modern way, especially through new materials, shapes, color combinations, cuts, and usability.

SUSNYARA
The fashion brand SUSNYARA is signed by Nina Šušnjara, whose name has appeared on the Slovenian design platform for many years. The brand describes its story as the interplay between the urban environment and nature, and it also pays great attention to environmental care.

Tanja Zorn
Tanja Zorn Grželj is a well-known name in Slovenian fashion design. She created collections during her studies, and she has been running her own brand TANJA ZORN since 1995. She describes herself as an extremely intuitive designer who puts rationalism first only when determining the structure of the collection and functional details.

Vlada Savić
The Vlada Savić brand is known for its minimalist concept of clothing creation, sharp lines and feminine colors and materials. Vlada Savić presented his collections as a young designer as part of the Milan and London fashion weeks.

On MBFWLJ Facebook Pages will be available for free viewing of live images from fashion magazines in 360 degree technicians, powered by 505VR by Izstop. MBFWLJ will present a prestigious award in the central Slovenian cultural institution Mercedes-Benz Fashion Award, offered a photography exhibition, a fashion performance, a film library, fashion magazines and a diverse accompanying and social program. The international star of this opening will be the house's fashion performance Gattinoni, which officially became part of the Italian cultural heritage in 2009. The lineup of the round table with the title will also be stellar Fashion film in advertising, where Aljoša Bagola, executive creative director of the Pristop agency, will host two exceptional interlocutors: Branimir Brkljač and Davor Bruketa. This time the host of the accompanying program – Wolfova 5 as part of the October edition, MBFWLJ presents a talented design student Izadora Verlič and her collection Stranger to Stranger.
