In November 2016, McLaren introduced the Track Pack for the 570S Coupe. The package reduced the coupe's weight by about 25 kilograms through the use of carbon fiber and lighter seats. Now they have introduced a similar package for the McLaren 570S version of the Spider.
Track Pack accessory package for McLaren 570S Spider is even more efficient, as it reduces the weight of the car by as much 33 kilograms. Like the Coupe, it got carbon fiber sports seats that are 13 kilograms lighter than standard ones. It also has a new steering wheel, also made of carbon and Alcantara. Even the interior 'upholstery' is somehow made of carbon.
The most noticeable addition to the exterior of the car are the new 10-spoke forged wheels, and compared to the standard wheels, they are lighter 15 kilograms. Another great thing, imperceptible at first glance, is the new exhaust system, which is lighter and louder than the standard Sport Series system. Everything you need is available for the most passionate drivers telemetry, through which you can track your time and analyze your achievements after visiting the circuit and find weak points for possible improvements.
Otherwise, under the hood of the McLaren 570S Spider is a 3.8-liter twin-turbo 8-cylinder V-engine with 570 horsepower. If we add to this the reduced weight due to the Track Pack accessory package, I already have an enviable 'convertible' in my hands. The Track Pack costs 17,160 British pounds and must be confirmed when ordering a new McLaren 570S Spider. Unfortunately, the package cannot be installed on existing cars.
