Recently, they have been surprising us with super sports cars, which are becoming more and more seductive. They added comfort and spaciousness to this and packed everything into a handsome and recognizable package called the McLaren GT.
When the name McLaren is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is a powerful and sporty car - the latest McLaren GT it's not much different, but it will add a lot more to this formula comforts and put the definition of a 'grand tourer' car on the absolute a new level. With the GT, they want to win completely new customers who aspire to a car that will allow driving on longer distances.
Not only is it the most comfortable, the GT is also the most spacious McLaren to date. It has a lot in common 570 liters luggage space, which is comparable to larger family cars. It is powered by a new 4.0 liter V 8 cylinder with a twin turbine that produces approx 620 horsepower or 462 kW. The GT didn't lose its cool because of it sharpness, but offers the right combination for those who don't want to work due to sports performance compromises in comfort.
Of course, the GT also flies... you will be able to drive it up to 100 km/h only 3.2 seconds. McLaren shyly hides the final speed data.
Electronically adjustable and heated seats with additional shoulder and back support are available for comfortable journeys. The gearbox and exhaust system were installed on the lowest possible level, that the cabin can still be more spacious. The GT shares its DNA with the Speedtail and continues to do so easy, strong and for a trifle more luxurious McLaren.
The chassis of the McLaren GT is high-tech and relies on technology Optimal Control Theory – in this case sensors 'examining' the road in front of the car and the data is sent to the computer. The computer then in mere 2 milliseconds adjust shock absorbers conditions on the road, which makes it possible 'picking holes' and consequently a more comfortable ride.
