The first seeds of the Café 2003 group date back to 1993 with the creation of the Nardin group in London. The band played exclusively their own compositions.
After returning from England, Savo started playing with Vladimir and Marko Deferri (accordion) and together they founded a tango group called Café 1930. They chose the name of the group after the composition Café 1930 by Astor Piazzolla, whose compositions were part of their repertoire. Later, with new members, the repertoire also changed, which, like the former Nardin group, intervenes in jazz, fusion and flamenco, again only own compositions. That's why the name changed to Café 2003. ******** Savo Nardin – guitar; Manuel Figelj – keyboards; Vid Simoniti – bass guitar
