Mensa is an international organization that in 1946 in Oxford founded by lawyer Roland Berrill and scientist and lawyer dr. Lance Ware. Their desire was to establish societies for bright people based on intelligence quotient (IQ) and regardless of political beliefs, race, religion or lifestyle. However, in order to become a member of the association, you must register in the top two percent of the population according to the result on a standard intelligence test. This means that you must score 132 points on the British Culture Fair test, and according to Cattell's scale, which is used in Slovenia, 148 points. Canteen in Slovenia has been operating since 2002, but it has almost 300 members.
Did you know that sons inherit intelligence from their mothers?
The genes responsible for intelligence are in the X-chromosomes. That's why sons inherit intelligence from their mothers. On average, their IQs differ by about 15 points. But only 40 to 60 percent intelligence is inherited, everything else comes through life. Therefore, nothing in the world can replace hard work. Daughters inherit intelligence from both parents.
