Before the official presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show, we will take a look at two more novelties. The Mercedes-AMG G63 and G65 will be presented for the last time in an exclusive version, as they will undergo a thorough renovation in 2018.
Although there is some information about the Mercedes-AMG G63 and G65 leaked online already in May, it happened Exclusive Edition found itself on the radar again. A few more details are known, which further increase the tension and expectations ahead Frankfurt official presentation. The price certainly plays its part, the G65 will cost quite a lot in Germany 287,658 euros, which is 12,000 euros more expensive than the non-exclusive version. This one 12-cylinder is certainly convincing and is actually Mercedes' most expensive selling model, if you exclude the sold-out G650 Landauletes and Project Ones. At the price 163,125 euros also G63 with 8-cylinder the engine is not exactly cheap and is as much as 17,767 euros more expensive than the standard version of the G63.
The Exclusive Edition will serve up completely new ones 21-inch rims, which have a border in high gloss, and in the case of the G65 the rims are even ceramic polished. What really sets this edition apart from other AMGs is definitely the matte color Monza Gray Magno, which is reserved for the Exclusive Edition. The interior has also received major changes, where we now have available upholstery in two-tone leather and serially installed AMG sports seats, also covered in two-tone leather.
