The Mercedes-Benz A-Class represents the entry model into the world of Mercedes-Benz and is currently their most advanced car, at least in terms of driver assistants and the new MBUX platform. The new A has grown a bit, become more serious and, according to the manufacturer, also grown up.
Mercedes-Benz A-Class is currently one of the the first ones Mercedes-Benz, which has a new platform built into it MBUX. You can through it vocally we manage certain functions in the car, and the system is even like that intelligent, to learn the driver's habits and if necessary by himself adjust system operation. Via the driver's profile, you can set your favorite radio stations, choose one of 64 colors ambient lighting, adjust the seat position, temperature and many other settings. All this will be a car remembered and even if someone else will use the car and mix up all these settings, the first user will be able to enjoy a simple one by clicking to your profile without any problems returned all your favorite settings.
The exterior of the 4th generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class is noticeable changed. He grew in length by 12 centimeters and as a result the wheelbase increased by 3 centimeters. This means that there is more space inside and that it is a car in general bigger, and there is also more luggage space, which has increased to 370 liters. It is the most noticeable diamond mask on the front and piercing headlights with Multibeam LED-technology. To brighten up the exterior, we have a choice of rims in sizes from 16 to 19 inches.
The interior has been significantly changed, and the two are certainly the most noticeable 10.25-inch display on the top of the dashboard. The MBUX platform can be managed on four ways. With the steering wheel buttons, voice commands, scroll pad or via the touch screen. Unfortunately, voice commands are not available in the Slovenian language, world languages such as English, German, French, Italian and others come into consideration. Some assistance systems are even more advanced, as you will find in the S-Class. Here we can mention the assistant for monitoring the blind spot, which still works 3 minutes after we had already turned off the car. The navigation system has also been upgraded, which allows others to display me with the so-called augmented reality.
At the beginning of the sale, we will have available A 180 d, z 1.5 liter diesel engine that has 116 horsepower and is available from 28,950 euros further. The petrol model A 200 has 1.4 liter motor with 163 horsepower and price from 28,670 euros further. At the moment, the most powerful version of the Mercedes A-class is the A 250, which has an engine with 2 liters volumes and 224 horsepower and is available from 34,420 euros further. In the coming months, we will see more engines, including the most powerful version AMG.
