Mercedes-Benz Vision EQ Silver Arrow: the new era of silver arrows

At the German Mercedes-Benz, this time they looked into the future, with the past in mind. They presented the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQ Silver Arrow electric study, whose design was inspired by the W 125 car from 1937.

From 1937 until the year 2017 had a Mercedes with a car W 125 in the hands a record for the fastest drive on public roads, which amounted to 432.7 km/h. Modern Mercedes-Benz Vision EQ Silver Arrow directs the EQ k name with its avant-garde aesthetics progressive and luxury philosophy, which is packed in clean, sensual design. 80 years ago, Mercedes-Benz proved that it was a company a pioneer in the field of achievement dizzying speeds. One of the features of the W 125 that enabled such a high speed was its extraordinary aerodynamic shape, from which the modern EQ is also inspired. The Vision EQ Silver Arrow is dedicated to acceleration, speed and driving pleasure, all in the comfort of luxury and cutting-edge technology.

Vision EQ Silver Arrow is made of carbon fiber, dressed in traditional silver color and a debt of approx 5.3 meters. The long and slender 'body' has clean design lines that start with the front part outstretched headlights and they end up at the back where we find two scrollable spoilers, which perform the function at the same time air braking. The wheels, which are made of light aluminum, are certainly not to be overlooked 168 spokes and are covered with rose gold color.

The interior combines the traditional appeal of the 'silver arrows' with a vision of the technological future. The Vision EQ Silver Arrow is said to be powered by an electric motor with 738 horsepower, and the energy should be provided by a battery with capacity 80 kilowatt hours. But since the sound of the electric motor is just not that exciting, the driver can choose to play the sound inside, which is very similar to that of Formula 1 or to any of Mercedes-AMG of sports cars with a built-in V8 engine.
