Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet – the most expensive off-roader is being created in Graz

Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet

The Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet represents the very top of the G-class range. A total of 99 examples will be produced in Arnold Schwarzenegger's hometown of Graz, but despite the high price - around half a million euros - all of them have already found their buyers. As many as 621 horses were harnessed to the prestigious four-seater on high heels at the Magna Steyr factory!

Mercedes will have its new prestigious SUV Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet brought to Geneva for the auto show there. It is slightly larger than Mercedes-Maybach S65, as it has a 26-centimeter longer wheelbase (3.42 meters). It's long 5.3 meters, 2.1 meters wide and as tall as former NBA basketball player Yao Ming (2.3 meters). A luxurious SUV with the comfort of a sedan boasts a 6-liter V12 engine (the same one found under the hood of the G6) that spews 621 horsepower at 5000 rpm. It transmits power to all four wheels seven-speed automatic transmission with the possibility of locking three differentials.

One of the special features of the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is a roof that can be opened above the rear seats. Electronically adjustable seats are taken from a prestigious sedan Mercedes-Benz S Pullman and offer hot stone massage, and they take care of additional comfort inflatable air pockets. Driver's license privacy or the rear part is made possible by a sliding glass, as we are used to in long sedans. Passengers are entertained by two 10-inch screens, and side tables are also available. From the ground, the vehicle is on 22-inch wheels with profile 325/55 remote 45 centimeters, so it has a threshold for easier entry. With a price of around half a million euros, it will be the most expensive Mercedes SUV in history.
