An excellent group by the name of Mildreds is coming to Maribor. The Slovenian-Croatian connection entered the scene in 2006. A year later, they won our ears and hearts with the album of old Yugo pop hits, Dust Wipers. Only these gave their own, special stamp so that hits from all corners of our former common homeland got a different, modern sound, while at the same time preserving everything that made these hits - lyrics, well-known tunes and excellent interpretation. This was followed by the album Život u šma, which contained the original works of the band members. Much of the arrangements are constantly changing. Their concerts are considered to be very intimate and to be an interesting mix of jazz, pop revue and lottery drawing. Today, the Mildreds are regulars at festivals and stages around the Balkans, and their concert is a combination of intimacy, jazz and pop. Mildreds consists of singer Astrid Kuljanić, excellent drummer Kruno Levačić, Uroš Rakovec on guitar, Blaž Celarec on percussion and Žiga Golob on bass. An excellent combination of musicians, who can be seen on stage happily creating together, is a guarantee of an excellent concert that will remain in our memories for a long time.
