When the Portuguese Diogo Frias returned from Brazil, he had only one thing in mind: to create a board on wheels the old way and with new materials.
That was in 2011, but then the idea stayed in his mind for another year, when he Diogo decided to take up the matter. One of the first things that was decided and certain was the name of the company - Milf Skateboard Tailors. Milf is someone born in the 60s or 70s, because Diogo was turning to the way of creating boards at that time. Skateboard Tailors but because the creation process is similar to that of tailors, when they create from different materials. Milf Skateboard Tailors therefore creates from different materials, different colors and in different shapes.
Well, that's the philosophy, but since the brand is fresh, it only has two models so far, the first one is called Longoria and others Bullock. The Longoria is a small board that is easy to carry around town, while the Bullock is a longer board inspired by the classic racket shape. The first prototypes were made entirely by hand, and today production takes place in a factory in the north of Portugal. But the final process still remains manual, thus the team ensures high standards for their boards. Some of the materials used are birch wood, walnut leaves and valchromat (fiber boards with a colored core). A special resin binds all the materials together in the boards.
Each board of Diogo Frias and his team is unique, bearing its own code, and they pay particular attention to the details of each board. For comfortable and economical driving around town.
