A few days ago, The Powder Room cocktail bar opened in Los Angeles, whose main sensation is a $500 milkshake. And no, neither two nor one zero is too many.
The Powder Room a cocktail bar opened in Los Angeles a few days ago, boasting an interesting offer, and the cherry on top of the cream is very special a $500 milkshake. As it says on the menu, this luxury drink contains gold leaves, the finest Belgian chocolate, the best liqueurs and - not exactly typical for sweet drinks - A $190 Swarovski ring. There is certainly a bit of cream, sprinkles and ice cream - but these little things do not justify the price of this drink. It is called "Velvet Goldmine" and it was created by a renowned Adrian Biggs.
As the owner explained John Arakaki, this milkshake is more for celebrations and gala dinners, and the ring is a fun accessory to take home. Described almost as lightly as if it were a washing powder, in which we are also surprised by a plastic clock at the bottom of the box. Anyway, if the ring is driving up the price of the milkshake, it's clearly not some culinary excess. Here it may be appropriate to question whether it exists at all milkshake worth $500 that would manage to justify its price? If the ladies prefer to choose the ring themselves and buy it in a nice box instead of a pile of cream - then we will be in The Powder Room preferred to drink the rest of the milkshakes, which are (surprisingly) fairly reasonably priced (around $13).
